FAQ

  • Are the necklaces heavy?
Scouts honor, this is my most frequently asked question. The short answer is “no”! While most of Maggie’s custom pieces include 15-20 charms, they are surprisingly light and comfortable for everyday wear.
  • How much is a custom charm necklace?
Our custom charm necklaces start at $800 with a $450 deposit required to move into the design phase. Final pricing will depend on the final customized piece.
  • When can I order a custom charm necklace?
These pieces of wearable art take time to build, so we like to make sure we don't take on too many at once. We will release "spots" monthly, and once the deposit for each spot is received, they are sold out for the month. Be sure to follow our Instagram account for all news and announcements about future spot drops!
  • How long does the customization process take?
Sourcing and using these wearable pieces of art can take up to 8-12 weeks depending on many factors. Maggie will be in touch as needed and is always available for questions during this time. Rush options available upon request.
  • I want to include charms that I already have, is this an option?
Absolutely! And in fact, Maggie loves and encourages clients to include pieces they already own as this enhances the individuality and magic to the piece!
  • What materials are the necklaces made with?
The paperclip chain is 14k gold fill as are the jump rings used on the necklace. These can last a lifetime if properly cared for! The charms however can be truly made of anything - 14k, gold fill, silver, and who knows what else the estate and other vintage pieces are made of- but the materials of the charms truly depends on the style and “look” we are trying to achieve!
  • What's the best way to care for my custom charm necklace?
Maggie cleans regularly with a jewelry cloth weekly.
  • Can I wear my necklace in the water?
While it is made of high quality metals that won't turn your skin green, your necklace is a work of art! Please remember to carefully remove your piece before you plunge!
